Lesson Objective: Assess our knowledge of our first essential question and then become familiarized with creating infographics (we will use Piktochart).
Homework: 1) When you finish your assessment, look at the 12 infographics posted above and pick the one that you think is the best and the one that has the most room for improvement. Fill in the Google Dive document with the name, "Judgement Day: Infographics" and we will share out tomorrow.
2) Please sign up for the piktochart website and take some time to play around with it because we will be using this in the future quite a lot!

Lesson Objective: Learn the different organelles that make up plant and animals cells. We will also take a closer look at our friend, the motor protein
Photo: Cancer cells showing an inability to stick together because some of their cell membrane features are different than regular cells. This allows them to spread (metastasize) to other parts of the body. Additionally, they do not know when to die and as a result, accumulate in the body causing normal functions to stop.
Homework: Finish Activity #1 and #2 that we began in class today. We will review cell organelles tomorrow in class and look more at motor proteins...
